VedicNest ("we," "our," or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy, especially regarding sensitive health and wellness information. This policy explains how we handle your data.

1. Information We Collect

To provide personalized maternal wellness insights, we collect the following:

• Account Data: Email address and authentication details managed via Supabase Auth.
• Health & Wellness Data: Information you voluntarily provide, including menstrual cycle dates, pregnancy status, postpartum progress, mood, weight, and baby care logs.
• App Preferences: Custom reminders, checklist progress, and profile settings.

2. How Your Data is Used

Your data is used solely to:

• Calculate ovulation windows, pregnancy milestones, and postpartum recovery phases.
• Provide personalized "Vedic Insights" based on your current phase.
• Sync your progress across devices via your authenticated account.

3. Third-Party Services

We use trusted partners to provide app functionality:

• Supabase: Our backend provider. Data is stored in encrypted databases.
• Google Play Services: For secure authentication and app distribution.

We do NOT sell, rent, or share your health data with advertisers or third-party data brokers.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your personal information, including health and wellness logs, for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the App's services.

• Account Deletion: You may request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time directly through the "Delete Account" option in the App's Profile settings or by contacting us at hanuramait@gmail.com.
• Data Removal: Upon account deletion, all your personal data (including menstrual cycle dates, pregnancy milestones, and baby care logs) will be permanently removed from our active databases within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

We use industry-standard TLS encryption for all data transmission. Your health data is tied to your unique user ID and is only accessible after a successful login.
